Customizing the DatePickerPlugin?

Bos, David de

Hi all,

After having followed the Hippo developer’s training I’m now ‘hippoly’ (happily) creating a website with HippoCMS!

Regarding the DatePickerPlugin I would like to separate the date and time fields. So instead of one field Date (which by default includes the time), I would like to have two fields: DateOnly and TimeOnly. Does anyone know if this would be possible with the DatePickerPlugin? Or if not, any suggestions how to do this?

Best,

David

Think we did something along those lines in that other project at your current assignment. J

We created some custom wicket datepicker thing IIRC.

Yes, you definitely need to write your own cms plugin and/or adapt the existing one.

Good to hear that you started on an Hippo project straight after the training. The best way of course to make the most of your fresh knowledge and experience.
