Redirect (302) from example.com/site to example.com/site/

Nils
Hi list,

we have the issue, that every user the comes to example.com will be redirected to example.com/site. That's okay. BUT after that, the user will redirected again with the 302-statuscode to exaple.com/site/
Can I disable that in the console and I didn't find it or is that an issue you had to working on?

Regards,
 Nils

You can tell the HST to not include the port and context name to links. That way if you use an apache in front of the site, you get proper links.

How does your infrastructure look? The properties you’re looking for are hst:includecontextpath and hst:showport or something similar on mounts / vhosts.

Re: Redirect (302) from example.com/site to example.com/site/

Nils
I'm sure you meant hst:showcontextpath. While setting this option to false we lose the sessionid. So we set it to true and live with the site in the path.
The show:port is set to false.

Our infrastructure:
One node with one apache and one tomcat.

Could you explain why the session id is lost? I've not experienced this with any of our customers.

The show:port is set to false.

Sounds fine to me.
